My Airpods Pro are deeply unreliable, the right bud is always refusing to charge. It's very frustrating, especially since the cheaper regular Airpods didn't have this problem.

@seldo that happens to me a lot too. I’ll start the day and realize one of them didn’t make contact with the case and was on all night.

@seldo Oh my god, I had to return my first pair because this was a problem. Second pair seems to be fine so far though

@seldo I kept having problems with Airpods so I switched to the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless. The original pair I bought in 2020 works just as well today as they did the day I bought them.

@seldo oh yeah mine just completely broke after about a year. can no longer connect to anything. just a little brick now. 😵💫 have you tried the samsungs buds? i got a pair of those to replace the bricked airpods & they work great with my iphone and other devices (and stay in my tiny ears better). so far, so good.

@seldo Same issue here, the charging and reporting of the charge status has been very iffy almost to the point where I’m looking for alternatives.

@seldo This seems to be a recurring pattern with Apple Products lately. Stuff is soo nice if it's working as intended, but man, are you fucked if it does not.

@seldo I’ve occasionally had similar issues with mine. Often turns out to be a piece of fuzz or dirt obscuring the contacts down inside the case holes. A q-tip swipe seems to do the trick.

@seldo I had lots of problems with first-gen Airpods Pro, but Airpods Pro 2 have worked well for me so far.

@seldo ditto.Make sure you keep an eye on the rubber bit too, they are delicate and tear easily. My left airpod pro dropped out of my ear into the ocean between deck slats. I was looking at the right one as I was putting it into the case and found the rubber had broken around the rim and had only a tiny bit left connecting it to the inner ear bit.I have a left replacement, but it has charging issues :/

@seldo same. I now run my finger around the charging ring on each pod before putting them into the case, and make sure the light indicates each pod has a good seat each time I put them away. Seems to be working so far.
