Seriously i'd say this attitude is pretty harmful.I would personally trust free software from the evil Russia or China much more than proprietary software from western 'good' countries, eg. ONLYOFFICE over M$ Office.

@rydia@fosstodon.org Same here. One of the benefits of free software is that anyone can check it, and everyone has the same rights as the author did. It doesn't matter who wrote it, it'll always be more beneficial to the user than proprietary software.

@tyil @rydia I used QR scanner app from Russia. A few months ago the update suddenly requesten internet access. I dumped it.
