The Saga Of Mark Pomerantz & Alvin BraggFor this week's blog post, I looked at the 3.5 year progression of the Manhattan DA's investigation into the financial dealings of the Trump Organization, Trump executives, and Trump himself:https://terikanefield.com/the-trump-ny-criminal-investigation-the-saga-of-mark-pomerantz-alvin-bragg/Yes, it's been 3.5 years and is on-going.I have a favor to ask: Before you comment (particularly if you have a cynical comment) read the blog post first.

@Teri_Kanefield Thank you once again for your insights and explaining things in a way us non-lawyers can understand. Another reminder that it’s a good idea to look beyond the splashy headlines.

@Teri_Kanefield I know nothing ~ work ethic of Bragg or Pomerantz. What is obvious is Cy Vance, Jr. had more than 2 decades to investigate Trump mafia & he didn't. After SoHo, there was never another mention of Trump family criminality. Vance did nothing until he decided to retire, comfortably, I assume. Where were the past & present NY governor's in this saga? What about former state A.G.s? I think we all know the answer. Trump has been buying prosecutors for yrs. What makes Bragg different?

@PattyHanson You jumped from facts to a conspiracy theory. You probably don't mean it the way it sounds, but "buying prosecutors" is a crime. You're accusing prosecutors of committing crimes.

@PattyHanson @PattyHanson You jumped from facts to a conspiracy theory. A conspiracy theory is a theory that explains an event or set of circumstances as the result of a secret plot by malevolent actors."Buying prosecutors" is a crime. You're accusing prosecutors of committing crimes.I'd suggest reading these two posts:https://terikanefield.com/frequently-asserted-rage-inducing-simplifications/and:https://terikanefield.com/all-new-doj-investigation-faqs/You'll need to read both to understand my point.

@Teri_Kanefield I believe Trump has been buying (bribing. whatever you want to call it) prosecutors for years. Explain how he has avoided criminal scrutiny until AG James entered the picture. I've read the old articles. Other than the federal discrimination suit Donald and Fred faced, there has been nothing. Why is that? The current criminal behavior isn't new. Are you implying there has never been suspicion before, or that many very smart prosecutors couldn't make a case? #TruthInConspiracy

@PattyHanson Hi there. You asked these questions before reading my blog posts.I spent many hours writing them. I have a law degree and decades of experience. Instead of reading my posts you are demanding that I give you private lessons. Please read the blog posts. After you read them, if you have questions, ask respectfully in the comments of the post and I will try to answer them.

@Teri_Kanefield Excuse me. I read your posts. You know nothing about me, and presume that your law degree and decades of experience causes your opinion to have more value than mine. You're quite presumptuous and arrogant. You could have chosen to disengage, but instead you become passive aggressive and insult my intelligence. ✌️

@Teri_Kanefield @capemaydave OTOH, I have a little experience critiquing long articles. I scribble as I encounter something worthy of note, then go back over it once I am finished reading. (Usually.)
