       oh shiiit. At first glance it looked like @nathan was being bulled by the stereotypical homophobic alt-right conservatives or whatever, ya know. But apparently, all this happened because he said he *wouldn't* ban people for indirectly(?) supporting a transphobe, and now people on his _own_ side are turning against him. Damn, I know how this feels...

       @lamp @nathan I sometimes think we're more committed to hurting each other than to standing together in the face of efforts by others to hurt us.I agree with Nathan. I'm seeing people ripping into people for playing the game when it should be starkly obvious they're not all, or even mostly, "the enemy".But honestly, if we can't manage to exchange rational ideas like "maybe don't gun for everyone indiscriminately" without turning on each other, this is all hopeless.
