       If I ever feel sad, I just plug a double-ended USB-C cable into both of my laptop's USB-C ports. The confusion that happens when it starts charging itself is hilarious. It's like I've created a perpetual energy machine.

       @yassie_j I have a USB-C to USB-C cable here somewhereit makes me laugh because the only thing I can do with it is plug my phone into my phone's dock - as in, to provide power to the dock, from the phonetruly a useless cable

       @izaya @yassie_j I've got one for a USB-C disk bay I've plugged in a motherboard that has a USB-C port on it.That's probably the only kind of scenarios where C to C could be useful, and even then, peripherals that only have USB-C are not very common (I got that disk bay second-hand, maybe thanks to someone who ordered the wrong model because I think there's one with a USB-A 3.0 port).

       @nihl @yassie_j I'm sure it'll be a useful cable ... in a decade or two, when everything has USB-C. For now it's just silly.
