@peter funny, my coworker was complaining about a lack of trucks at my agency, we have a fleet of electric leafs and small SUVs which work for 95% of what we do.

@ebooksyearn @wegonnaseeno @peter They definitely don't have nearly as many as they need, nor do they do a good job in "prioritizing" their use. In a fit of boredom, I checked all of the cars that got no parking tickets in Eckington a few weeks ago, with 1/4 of the cars getting a boot. They did not make good use of their limited boots - IIRC one bootee had just 4 unpaid expired meter violations, whereas a non-bootee had 6 meter violations plus 15 speeding tickets.

@LhasaCM @ebooksyearn @wegonnaseeno yeah I used to see that kind of thing all the time in R St. car booted because ~2 unpaid parking tickets, etc.“just doing my job” is 6 inches away from “not my job”
