These are the books that are recommended for preparing for year two of an herbalism apprenticeship. Before getting into these types of books you should be proficient in:- Making herbal simples, tinctures, salves, compresses, glycerite, oils etc.- Know how to write your own plant monographs.- Learning the scientific names of the plants you work with and preferably growing them, harvesting etc for sustainability.- Plant i.d. - Studied about herbalism through the seasons.- Studied body systems and anatomy. (Holistic Anatomy)- Do an intensive study of various herbal antivirals, antibiotics etc. and know how to make them.

A lot of herbalism revolves not just around studying the plants properties. But learning how to study holistically. You tend to learn how these plants live, where they grow, how to tend, forage, harvest, and process them and how they affect your body. Then you learn about yourself and your body's systems. The interactions between you, the plants, and the earth through the seasons etc. It's a huge topic and it becomes not just something you study or work at, but kind of what you live. It's really fascinating and if you have the opportunity to get to learn it. Do it. Take back something from this capitalistic dystopia and help something better come into being.
