       I was once talking to the CEO of a devtools startup whose whole thing was taking something built into every machine  that works just fine, but making it persistently cloud connected so it could do tricks, and he was just completely baffled about why I’d be turned off by the connectivity requirement

       @joenash the term I use for this not problem solving( possibly problem creating) product design is "solutioning".It's one of the tech industry's biggest problems.
