       I've got to respect the marketing mind of the Musk, get rid of the free API, and scare people with an incredibly high price ($100+) so they freak out, knowing nobody would actually pay it.        It's a simple trick you see mobile games commonly use called Anchoring, you offer one price that seems outrageous for gems, then you offer a discounted price that makes it seems like you're losing money if you don't spend right now https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anchoring_(cognitive_bias)
