       I have - intentionally - installed a whole mess of #Matrix clients on various devices, and quite pleased with their interoperability, especially in terms of end-to-end encryption.Element web client in FirefoxGomuks terminal-based client on Linux (works on my aarch64 Pinebook Pro)Nheko GUI client on LinuxElement on AndroidFluffyChat on AndroidI have not much to add apart from the fact they… just work 👍 Just to clarify my testing criteria: I’m using these devices for daily work so have little tolerance for inconvenient user interfaces or crashing, but I have lots of tolerance for aesthetics, emojis etc.

       @kravietz Fun fact: gomuks reveals the hidden feature of "emoji reacting" with arbitrary text. Other clients tend to render this correctly, but cannot do it themselves.

       @timorl @kravietz  A bit offtopic question on matrix clients. Which one do you recommend for console? I found that weechat isn't actively maintained.

       @kravietz gomuks! simply the best!I have elements both on desktop and phone, but they messing with me, both say that session is not confirmed but nuance is that they both say that it’s own session is not verified and when I try to verify, it doesn’t go through -.-

       @AncientGood I only installed it because nothing else worked on my Pinebook, but will be likely switching to it on other devices too :)
