       #Today 17 years ago, I became a mother. I was young and became a single parent a couple of weeks after my daughter was born. I was always the youngest parent at parent meetings and activities, we had very little money and lived far away from my relatives for many years. EVERYTHING was very hard at times.I am far from perfect as a parent, but my daughter is now the most wonderful creature. I feel very lucky that she chose me to be her mom, and proud that we made it this far.
