@leo @wesley83 @taylorlorenz The first time someone boosted my post I freaked, I didn't understand the concept of no quotes.It takes a while to get used to Mastodon. I also think we need to remember that people who come here are in shock from having to leave twtr.But journalists have to climb down from their high horses and realise a journalist created John Mastodon by writing a whole article without ANY fact checking. Journalist will be tolerated here, but can't really demand anything imo.

To all #admin of instances on the #fediverse and #mastodon (@Gargron @stux etc)May I suggest a closing of the biggest instances and instead a new instance where the “I want to be on twtr but M kicked me out and I don't like anything about the Fediverse so I’m going to bash everyone here and try to turn it into twtr” people can go?It could be like their little twtr, they could quote toot and bash each other. And we who hate twtr wouldn't have to experience our instances turning into it.❤️

@stux @georgetakei I listened to an FBI agent once, who specialized in detecting lies in interrogations, and she said “if the persons lips are moving he or she is lying”. 👀🧐

@stux @georgetakei Yeah... I worked as a paralegal to a lawyer who said “everyone's lying and everyone's guilty until proven otherwise”. And God have mercy have I seen people lie and forge evidence etc., yes, yes and yes. So I think people actually do believe their own lies. 😬

@stux I will say in public hell no! It scared the shit out of me when the neighboring ten floor building started shooting fireworks early and I could hear loud bangs and see lots of smoke. It brought me straight into “omg its a Russian attack” mode 😭

@stux I think it's understandable that the Germans are hesitant, they are afraid to make things worse. But Ukraine are going to get their tanks and everything they ask for in ways the press and public won't know about, I am certain of that. Fortunately the public doesn't get to know everything. If it was up to me the press wouldn't be reporting on the agreements at all. The reporting is only doing things worse imo, because it's just informing Russia about EU's next steps.

#Today 17 years ago, I became a mother. I was young and became a single parent a couple of weeks after my daughter was born. I was always the youngest parent at parent meetings and activities, we had very little money and lived far away from my relatives for many years. EVERYTHING was very hard at times.I am far from perfect as a parent, but my daughter is now the most wonderful creature. I feel very lucky that she chose me to be her mom, and proud that we made it this far.

@adam There’s a parking lot above the grocery store that I usually go to, and me and my daughter call it “the zombie apocalypse parking lot” because it’s nearly always empty, has weird dim green lights everywhere and creepy music coming from speakers somewhere on the building. I love the zombie apocalypse parking lot.
