I’m a graphic designer who has used (and loved) #Linux in the past but felt forced back towards Windows. Are there any designers out there who made it work for them? #GraphicDesign

Probably doesn't help much but might give you some idea of where to look. There is also Inkscape and GIMP and LibreOffice draw...@avarowell https://krita-artists.org/

@avarowell I know quite a few. The designers at the #FOSS dev company I ran for 14 years never used anything but superb FOSS tools like #Inkscape, #Gimp, #Blender, & #Scribus. I sold that company 10 yrs ago & the FOSS tools are much better today. Things like Krita plus video (#KDEnlive, #OpenShot, #OBS) & audio (#Ardour) editing have got way better. They're all easily installed with https://ubuntustudio.org - it's an amazing resource for artists of all sorts.

@lightweight Former Ubuntu Studio advocate here. I need to give Scribus another go. I found it to be near unusable but that was many years ago.

@avarowell UbuntuStudio has recently adopted the KDE Desktop which made it far more compelling to me than it was (when it used XFCE)... and the app suite is constantly improving at a surprising rate.
