       I learned about Japanese internment from my Japanese 3rd grade teacher. She wasn't supposed to teach us about it, but she did. Thank you, Ms. Yokomizo. I'll never forget you.

       @StillIRise1963 I first learned about Japanese internment camps by reading about it in a Baby-Sitters Club book! Claudia’s grandmother has a stroke and starts talking about her experiences in one. We did discuss it in school when I was a high school student. I don’t remember if it was taught before that or not.
