@Gustodon Thank you for sharing that. I knew someone, she seemed awkward, unhappy and just uncomfortable to be around...and then they had an "Ah HA!" moment, and morphed into someone who is strong, funny and hardworking, and now he is creating the life he always wanted. I had this conversation with a relative the other day too, who also has a friend who metamorphosed into a new them.I said to my family member, as an often depressed cisgendered person, dang I wish someone would bottle up that kind of joy! Not that getting there for any of these people was easy but I'm SO glad they became their true selves and I will ALWAYS fight for that!

@Gustodon I mean, 30 years ago even, it wasn't talked about...now it's not only that trans people are "out" but really everyone knows someone...If they cancel Black people and gay people and trans people and make poverty illegal, they will come for the rest of us sooner or later. #TransRightsAreHumanRights

Redoing my #Introduction so I can pin it, & with #'s & AltText.Already mentioned I'm a #Hellier #weirdo. I've lived in the South, & on the west coast, (moved a LOT!) but now live on the edge of a forest not far from the confluence of the Ohio & MS rivers. I have 2 cats & a hubby, & #knitting is my superpower & lifelong hobby/obsession. Used to live on a #farm but now live in the burbs, with a big #garden out back. I also grow #herbs for making #herbalmedicine. I'm pretty much an #eclectic/#hedgewitch/magick practitioner, #animist, very interested in #ancestors & #genealogy (incl. DNA). Photo is the forest behind our house. Perfectly witchy.💚 🌳
