       Is there a way to make an app permanent default for #Arch #XFCE?Example: I'm on #endeavourOS and I use #Thunar, and If I set an image viewer app as default to open images, it works OK. But if I right-click an image and choose to open with another app, next time I normally click on any other images, it will open with the last app I used, and not with the default app I set in the beginning ...Any ideas?#askfedi #askmastodon #linux #distro

       @cyberghostStill can't help; my file manager is cd, ls, mv, cp, edir, xdg-open, etc. In other words, I don't have a file manager. :)

       @benjaminhollon the best file manager there is 😁 @cyberghost in XFCE though I assume it's thunar? there's a section under "Adding actions" here:https://docs.xfce.org/xfce/thunar/working-with-files-and-foldersthey should only be set as default of nothing else has been set or the set as default option is checked. weird if that isn't the case
