       @BrodieOnLinux I think it adds on a few requirements apart from just distributing Linux. These requirements likely are different depending on who ask, but for me it is a project that embraces as part of its identity.Like Ubuntu or Arch make Linux a core part it identity and brand themselves as a linux distro. Android and chrome os on the other hand merely use linux because it is as you said, "a really good kernel". Google has even talked about replacing it with the Fuschia kernel.
