       It's, as always, a matter of optimization. If the gamedevs focus on providing settings that work well with the Steam Deck, they will surely be able to make their games run smoothly. Right now, that's the experience out of the box on the most demanding games without any work done to support the Steam Deck.

       @boilingsteam I don’t feel like this is a concern for most steam deck owners. Seeing how it’s a handheld for pc gamers made by pc gamers, I think a lot of the people that buy a device like this are aware of its limitations. They’re probably not the same dreamers who thought the switch pro would was going to drop in 2020 with 4K gameplay, better battery life and still somehow cost and weight about the same.
