       is anyone good on the #history of #printing able to tell me what to call the code that appears on the back cover of commercial promotional leaflets, catalogues, booklets etc?They follow a similar format:An order reference no (No. 850), the size of the print run (50M=50 thousand copies), and a date code (July 1937)They’re useful for dating literature like this, but I can’t work out what they’re called!Please boost for reach!@keelan#histodon #ephemera #Documentation #vintage #research
