I got myself a laser cutter, and my first project is designing a paper diorama of the "This is Fine" dog.Constraints:- must fit on A5 card stock (that's what I have lying around)- one single piece, folding only, no glue (because I like a challenge)- one-sided printing only (precise duplex is impossible on my printer)Still work in progress, but here's what I have so far, including all prototypes up to this point.

Might make a couple final tweaks, but I'm pretty happy with this.I present you: "This is fine", a diorama built from a single piece of paper.

A lot of people have asked for the files for this one as well. I've put them here: https://thingadongdong.com/sec/s/thisisfine.zipUse at your own risk, and note that there are no folding instructions (and it's a little tricky to fold!), so you'll have to figure that out on your own 😄

It might be doable to do the cutting by hand, but you'll have to be really precise.
