I guess one of the drawbacks of getting back into "Lets run Linux as a primary desktop" is realizing that yeah, the linux community is STILL full of egos that don't like being told what they should and should not do, no matter what the impact on the users.Case in point https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/issues/4895Short version: Gnome maintainers allow their own screenshot tool to run without restriction, but block all others. Great fun.#linux #desktop #ubuntu #gnome

@roygreenhilt Don't mix Gnome's fools with other communities. It's not The first time Gnome breaks things and they don't give a shit what happen with others.

I'm more than sure they break compatibility with other software on purpose, to create an idolated, controlled enterprise-like shell that forces everything around dependent on its interfaces and libraries.

Gnome turned to something wrong, evil and fat the past years. since Gnome 2 it went to absolute wrong direction. all I can do now is to cut out their interfaces everywhere to save the software from that cancer.

@iron_bug @roygreenhilt I believe exactly the same. That alliance between Gnome, systemd and Red Hat have only bad intentions.
