Keenan Anderson—a 31-year-old high school teacher & father—stopped LA police for help after an accident. They instead cuffed him, pinned him, & tased him repeatedly as he begged them to stop.Keenan died of cardiac arrest from excessive tasing.His crime—asking police for help.LAPD is already blaming Anderson for his own death, claiming he was erratic and on drugs. @QasimRashid This is an excellent idea and can be applied super widely. For small business owners in areas where police are not so bad, imagine IRS audit insurance.

@gavinisdie @PChoate @QasimRashid At one end of the street there is a 'Missing' poster for Sarah, down the other is a memorial at the spot where Chris was shot by Police, it's bizarre. The Met is completely unfit and needs to be disbanded, there are more bad apples than good it seems.

@QasimRashid you don't. You hard-line it and automatically fire any officer who kills someone. Period. They can take their chances in the justice system same as anyone else. If they are found not guilty, they can apply to be re-hired at which point their entire record will be examined. Disband police unions.

@QasimRashid It might also be worthwhile to prototype recording/broadcasting devices in discreet form-factors that can stay on your person. Police do remove jewelry, pens and other loose objects, so something more bland, say, in the form of prescription glasses would be great.

@QasimRashid One of my pet peeves is when "civilians" is used to refer to "non-police".In the USA, aside from MPs, all police officers are civilians too, not military, and should be reminded often that they are part of the body of people they serve.

@johnlogic @QasimRashid Police only serve themselves, and for that they have to serve their command chain. If the command orders them to arrest or kill you for any bullshit reason, they will. Has happened countless times. The police are not civilians or friends of civilians, they don't serve civilians either.
