       The Fediverse needs a better answer for identity, decoupled from hosting. Identity needs decentralized verification. I know none of this is easy. I'm pretty sure this is where Bluesky is trying to differentiate.        @kidehen @acjay Iirc you can verify your profile by copypasting a link associated to your account to another site/profile of your choosing to act as your authenticator. This gives you free verification with open options to choose from to serve as a decentralized authentication server.I don't verify myself as what you see before you is but a false reality ;)
