       I see a lot of posts to #fediblock talking about people sea-lioning them but... when you post to fediblock, yeah server admins and people wanting to stay ontop of blocks are going to question you about thingsSea lioning is when people come in irrelevantlyppl pointing out that you're providing a very bad standard of evidence and research for asking someone be banned from all instances following fediblock seems... well, like maybe you shouldn't post to fediblock if that's your block criteria

       if you do not understand the software you are using enough to accurately moderate, you need to find others to do that job. simple as.

       do not try to explain to me why people posting their concerns to you -- or people posting their concerns about fediblock and then responding to you threatening to fediblock them, is sealioning.If it is, the word has scope-crept enough to apply to "people pointing out you're fucking up" and at that point, you now have no litmus for when you're messing up, and should not be moderating.
