       I published a year-in-review of 2021 anime in... April 2022. That was a bit untimely, so I pledged to do better this year -- in this article I list my six favorite anime series of 2022, honorable mentions, and category-specific awards. This post was an incredible pain to put together, from adding encyclopedia links to collecting and preparing screenshots, not to mention the substantial word-count.
