       I have begun the process of getting help for this possible broken foot. First step was a call to the the virtual walk-in centre at the local GP (run extremely badly by Locala). Waiting now for an SMS with a link to a video call with a physician. I was told I might just be asked to go to A&E... Not doing that on New Year's Eve. Given there's been little improvement in 4 days it's clear I'll need an X-ray.

       @oppen Love that healthcare in the UK now is so bad people would rather just take their chances than sit in a hospital waiting room. 🥹 I was in one the other week and someone came in who announced they’d been “coughing up blood” and then just left when they found out it was a 3 hour wait. 😅

       @matt New Years Eve as well, the drunken accidents will already have started coming into A&E I'm sure. This toe has healed itself once before, at an angle, and I was 30 years younger, but if I take it easy for a week or so will see what happens. It was probably that old badly healed wound that made it go again now.
