       @feditips@dev I get how #mastodon accounts can follow microblog accounts, but you can't use microblog accounts with just any Mastodon client, right? So how is client support for this? Is it just their default web client?

       @deurman@fosstodon.org you're correct, for now it's just the web client.#Microblogpub is compatible with Mastodon (and other fediverse software) because it uses #ActivityPub under the hood.But Mastodon has its own "client API" which is not part of the ActivityPub spec and really specific to their user interface. Even if again, some other software chose to implement it, this is not the case for us.But we do support the ActivityPub Client to Server API, unfortunately, there's not a lot of clients that support it.#AndStatus is one of them and there's some work in progress to have microblogpub working with it (thanks to @AndStatus@mastodon.social), but it's not ready yet.(cc @feditips@mstdn.social)

       @feditips @dev hey thanks for info, anyway can I as non tech user install on my own hosting likely same with wordpress, drupal, ghsot? or stepbystep using docker etc? fyi i dont have knowledge about docker :(
