@Polychrome @SuperDicq NL wasn't that much planned in terms of infrastructure, like AFAIK the thing of lowering car-centricity is like 30~50 years old and apparently still in progress.And on seeing the infrastructure changes in my town and nearby city (Rennes, France), I can quite tell that it's possible to make it better for both.Like I think my nearby city could avoid keeping their horrible amount of one-way-streets with chaotic turns having to be done from time to time, even on bicycle I would hate doing turns all the time.

@Polychrome@poly.cybre.city @lanodan@queer.hacktivis.me Yeah we basically have good infrastructure for everyone.I'm a big car guy and I think the anti-car sentiment is very unrealistic. It's also very ableist, as some people can't drive bicycles or use public transport.Also I live in a rural area where public transport doesn't run 247 so some things would be impossible for me without a car. I do groceries on a bicycle tho.

@MischievousTomato @SuperDicq Heh, only NFS I played was Need For Speech III on Windows 9x.Sort of didn't like it because I was bad at driving simulators (still kind of am).

@MischievousTomato @SuperDicq I think I'm too much of a brute for driving games though.In games I typically just step on the gas and then brake and steer.(Not how I drive in real life btw)

@SuperDicq Since there’s so much land reclaimed from the north sea, the sea is connected to the atlantic ocean, and so many cars are on that reclaimed land…. does this mean the Netherlands also holds the record for most car batteries in the ocean?
