@Gina @hjertnes My assessment of sofas is whether it is comfortable to lie down for taking a nap. To clarify I have not been able to nap for YEARS (!)...but it is still a very valuable metric. Every sofa that I have gotten is Great for my family by using that simple metric. BTW your latest considered sofa looks good. But light color mak me wonder if easy to clean spills?

Ok, so I often get emails from recruiters for all manner of jobs...but this one just had me quite perplexed! They need a programmer/machinist - I've never heard of such a combination! I don't know....I have a feeling that the pool of available candidates might be pretty small!

@murph Yeah I also thought of CNC. In fact I learned some of that while i was mechanical engineer major, before switching to computers. But for CNC jobs I think often it's a duty under engineer jobs or strictly machinist...but here they offered the title which includes "programmer" too. Let's hope they pay commensurate with both skillsets! 😃

@urusan I can't recall which pixel it was that I had...but a few years ago I bought a USB c to regular speaker/headphones jack and it didn't work. Back then pixel phones blocked usage of any other adapters except theirs. Some digital "feature" was their excuse. But I only learned of this limit after buying like 3 different brands of adapters. So maybe it's still a thing? (I have a pixel but always buy one that has a regular headphones jack nowadays)
