       Never try to resize your root partition when your machine is running.I did this with my Pi and I have to start over...

       @selea I resized while the system was still running. Using parted, all worked fine until I rebooted.It was pretty stupid of me. Should've done the repartitioning on a different system.

       @gperson No no, it is actually completely normal and fine to resize partitions when they are in used.
