@selea I resized while the system was still running. Using parted, all worked fine until I rebooted. It was pretty stupid of me. Should've done the repartitioning on a different system.

--PSA REGARDING SAUCEDACITY SUPPORT--As we know, Saucedacity merged with Tenacity. However, some people still use Saucedacity 1.2.1 and unofficial packages still exist. To provide quality of life, I will continue to fulfill support requests in addition to critical bug fixes if needed. Saucedacity support will officially end once a Tenacity beta is released. So, it's official: Saucedacity is semi-dead. It will still be maintained with critical fixes only (likely backported from Tenacity 1.3).

Most of my IRL friends are mostly tech unsavy, so I wonder how well that will work.On the other hand, there's probably one big obstacle: they might not be interested. If that's the case, oh well...

Looks like I missed out on Matrix notifications because Element didn't notify me.If anyone had a question about Tenacity or so and didn't get it answered, I apologize for my late response. I know I'm quicker than this and will get this issue resolved.

Apparently, it's very easy to record Spotify with Tenacity. 🀭It's pretty easy to do, although I'm very afraid to put directions here because of legal consequences. (I'm very superstitious). And now for the usual disclaimer: neither @tenacity nor I endorse the usage of Tenacity for music piracy. I won't be distributing the recorded material anytime soon. This was done solely for testing purposes...

@k Whenever I try to visit my instance locally (e.g. http://192.168.128.255), it shows a 404 error. However, whenever I visit it locally over https (e.g. https://192.168.128.255), my browser just gives an "unable to connect" error.I'm not good with setting up web servers at all πŸ˜†. I have an idea that I'll try tomorrow, however πŸ˜„

I'm experimenting with new @tenacity branding...for nightly versions only πŸ™‚I'm tired of confusing myself with my locally-built nightly versions and stable versions, so I've decided to come up with a slightly modified version of the logo. See the results below and let us know what you think!(This is also a hint that I plan to change the .desktop launcher for alpha and beta versions soon πŸ˜‰)

I ALMOST thought I hosed my #FreeBSD install.I was having issues running pkg trying to update. It was complaining about a wrong packagesite, and I was trying to figure out what was wrong. Alas, I forgot about my custom config file for okg, and when I disabled it, pkg is back to normal! :DOnce pkg is done reinstalling all the packages (ABI switch from 14.3 to 15) I'll investigate switching back to latest instead of quarterly.

I am now finally seriously looking at new #laptops. This especially comes at a good time where I got a large sum of money thanks to leftover student aid for university, so I will use that money wisely to buy a new laptop while I still can. At the same time, however, it also comes at a time where we're facing a RAM shortage, so I *really* need to buy one right now because things did not get better the last time I said that!Right now, at the top of my list is a brand-new Lenovo ThinkPad E16 Gen 3, one with an AMD Ryzen 7 250, 16 GB RAM, and a 256 GB SSD (my friend may provide me with a 1 TB drive I can swap in later). All in all it comes at just over $700 (USD) before taxes and all that stuff. So far it feels like a good deal, and I'm shocked at the price of it honestly.I will continue to look for more laptops, especially if there is one with a newer CPU available or of the likes, just out of curiosity. Suggestions are always appreciated too! :D
