I was reading something about how instances can sometimes block certain content or other instances, and i guess it’s setting users can go see… but they didn’t mention how to view those settings, just that you should… is there an easy way to view a server’s config (for what it blocks) in either the metatext or mastodon (ios) apps?

@Dingfelder @SDF That's an interesting question, I'd like to know that too. SDF, any ideas?

@mmiasma @Dingfelder individuals on an instance can mute or block other individuals, hashtags and conversations. You can find this by clicking on the three horizontal or vertical dots in a post in your profile. For instance we only implement the community shared block list which many instances use. You can find this on https://mastodon.sdf.org/aboutAside from very well known instances that don't follow the Mastodon Covenant, we leave content choices and preferences up to the individual.

@SDF @mmiasma @Dingfelder That blocklist is a whole bucket of sketch. An overflowing bucket of sketch. Thanks for taking care of the bucket.
