       Hi all, sadly, we have to admit that we lost about 1 day of emails.Yesterday, about this time, changed unix permissions on a config file broke email delivery for the user Gitea runs with.Today we investigated reports of missing emails from Gitea, and noticed that all emails since then were completely dropped. We are sorry!Please check your internal notifications, or re-register if you are still waiting for your activation code.

       We learned that monitoring the "postfix" unit in journalctl isn't enough, we should also keep an eye on postfix/sendmail or postfix*.

       @CodebergOof, that's a tough mistake. :(This kind of issue is why I haven't attempted self-hosting my email; I know I'm not skilled enough to avoid things like this.

       @mforester Well, this only affected emails coming from Gitea, not other services. I'm not sure if Woodpecker is sending emails, though.~f

       @Codeberg that's alright. I've seen examples of custom notifications if pipelines fail. I'm still pretty new to Woodpecker, but I like that it focuses on just a few essential CI things.Keep up the good work and thanks for your services. 🙂
