Are the any modern phones that have a screen size between 4 and 5 inches? It's kindof the size sweet spot to perfectly fit in my hand but nobody makes a phone like that anymore :blobcatalex:

@Linux_in_a_Bit I happened to read a post from Android Authority about the growing size of smartphones this morning. It says, understandably, that smartphone manufacturers would sell more smaller devices if they were popular... For me, the Pixel 5 was about as big as I could handle with one hand. My current phone, Pixel 7, is a bit too big.

@Linux_in_a_Bit it's almost like as if the phones of tomorrow will be tablet-sized if they made pockets big enough.

@icedquinn I've checked them, the Jelly 2 is about 3 inches.I just found the Atom L/XL that seems to fit barely at exactly 4 inches, but even that might be to small :blobcatthink: My benchmark is this btw: https://m.gsmarena.com/motorola_electrify_m_xt905-5102.php

@daihard And yet that phone is on every "small smartphone list 2022" for some reason...

@Linux_in_a_Bit I know. I don't like this trend at all. I get that some people like to watch videos and play games on a large screen, but I bet just as many people prefer compact form factors.

@Linux_in_a_Bit Sorry, all current players seem to want to break your pinky fingers. It's like some nightmare mode gangster fever dream in which you have to pay them thousands of dollars _to_ break your fingers :P

@Linux_in_a_Bit https://m.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_xz1_compact-8610.phpIt's far from new but you put Lineage on it no problem. I had the larger version and I thought it looked really sharp. It was built like a tank too.

@Ethanol6 I actually had an XA1 (I believe) but AT&T gets REAL mad (i.e. killing the plan until you get a new phone mad) if it doesn't support all their 4G bands perfectly (their wording is "not 5G compatible, but we should all know that's a lie by now)... Maybe I'd just need a different model?
