       @EvieAlways @freemo @doot It's a combination of ignorance and denial.The problem is that the idea is dehumanizing. And, dehumanization leads to atrocities.Seen this way, we can substitute many other kinds of "different" into the scenario - and see that the ignorance, the denial, the dehumanization, and the atrocities remain consistent elements. Understood as a system, we can look at each element for potential mitigations.

       @EvieAlways @freemo @doot /3It just occurred to me "you would allow?" may have been an "if you were moderator" question.I do moderate digital spaces, and have since the late 1980's days of dial-up.And, in that context the answer is "no" - and because the pattern is very predictable, and the contents of it are not useful to the community.
