Today's #AdventOfCode was the most fun so far this year. Of course they'd take away my CS PhD if I couldn't write a tree class! But one thing I've learned doing these puzzles is that data structures like trees and linked lists are a LOT easier to write in modern languages like Python than they were when I was first writing them in Pascal.

@waltman I was thinking the same thing, I've done it in C and pointers but.. yeah there's a lot of fiddling around there.The killer for me is decent string parsing and handling. Most of the modern languages, such as python, it just works.
