       I saw a post on xmpps Lemmy saying they'll have matrix support imminently in their commercial product, so presumably there'll be support in the open source version eventually.

       @xanny In my experience XMPP is easier to administer. Prosidy basically just works while Synapse takes more effort and fuckery with the python env container thing so it doesn't break itselfBasically if you want more advanced features go with Matrix, otherwise XMPP
