@gwmngilfen @krisbuytaert @cfgmgmtcamp hehe it's ok, I've made the submission 3 weeks ago and thought that acceptances will only be confirmed after the CFP closes. Didn't want to assume that we'll be automatically accepted just because we're part of the organizing team :)

@cybette @cfgmgmtcamp I've been pondering on a proposal or two, thanks for the reminder about deadline !Do you happen to know if there is "etiquette" about proposing the same topics to FOSDEM and cfg mgmt camp ?I have limited time and they would be a good fit for both 😅

@rfc2549 @cfgmgmtcamp I think it's fine to submit the same talk for both events. The Devrooms at FOSDEM are managed by various groups, each one having a separate CFP https://fosdem.org/2023/schedule/tracks/The cfgmgmtcamp team used to host the Infra Management devroom at fosdem as well, but this year our room proposal was rejected 😅 In fact we used to have the same CFP accept talks for both events, but now only cfgmgmtcamp for 2023 😄

@cybette @cfgmgmtcamp Thanks !I've been out of the loop and didn't realize the devroom had been rejected, I figured it had been folded into the CI/CD or Testing and Automation tracks.Too bad !

@rfc2549 @cfgmgmtcamp yeah in-person fosdem has physical space limitations so they aren't able to approve every single devroom request. plus every year there are new rooms for new topics so I can understand their dilemma. I'm sure you'll find a suitable devroom for your talks. if in doubt, just submit it to multiple devrooms. different audiences can get different insights from your talk :) I once gave a talk in the open source design devroom as someone clueless about design :P
