       @veanova @anderscs @SnabelAdmin From what I see, this is not a big issue right now. Over the past 30 days oslo.town has had 28 reports - most of those have been reports of spam, as opposed to abuse.Either people on oslo.town are not seeing the sort of abuse that you are, @veanova, or they are simply using the block feature they have at their disposal to deal with it themselves.(1/2)

       @veanova @anderscs @SnabelAdmin This is not to say I am blind to some of the things that are happening on the fediverse, but so few of those problems are reaching our instance today.There are instances I know of that are troublesome, but I have chosen not to block them, because right now - no one on oslo.town interacts with them, and they don’t interact with us.I’m moderating reactively.        Det dukker stadig opp nye historier om hets, hat og truende oppførsel på Mastodon. Det er så viktig at vi erkjenner at vi ikke får noe gratis her bare fordi dette ikke er Twitter. Tvert om.        @veanova @SnabelAdmin @themayor Jeg tenker det er lurt å opprette en organisasjon for å hjelpe norske #fødivers/#allheim instanser med diverse problemer, donasjoner og moderering. Både snabelen og oslo.town er enpersonshow og dette setter hele systemet i stor risiko. #NorskTut

       @matt Well I'm not saying that our spaces are overwhelmed right now. What I'm saying is that by the time there is a perceived demand for robust (i.e. not dependent on a single person) moderation, it is already to late. People will have been hurt. Some will have left. Better to prepare now, given our growth.Sending a signal that you are taking this seriously now is the inclusive thing to do (and make you more attractive to everyone, sans the poasters).@anderscs @SnabelAdmin
