       As much as I enjoyed the waves of trending terms “Gillian Anderson,” “Mulder,” and “Scully” that would roll across :twitter: on a regular basis, it’s now clear there are better ways for lovers of specific things and people  to come together w/out noising it up for everyone else; and while fandom and nostalgia are amazing, fulfilling, and valuable, they’re perhaps not the *main* course.

       @denise It's the difference between Coachella and conversation. Depends on your mood but these days I'm much happier in the conversation pit.
