       @denise It's really gone downmarket hasn't it. It's terribly sad. Such opportunity squandered. I'm increasingly of the opinion that Elon plans bankruptcy to get out of his debt.

       @leo @denise With Elon's resources, he "could" have taken some time to understand what Twitter is actually used for by various groups of people (news, journalists, disenfranchised groups, dissidents, etc.) and come up with a plan to steer it in a better direction. But I guess it is easier to burn down the building for the insurance money, than to refurbish it into something beautiful. I'm not vested in Twitter, but I see the use cases for others. It's just a shame.
