@johnnylogic As of the moment we dont ask for donations, I pay out of pocket and have put enough money in the QOTO bank account to last us well over a year right now.

So, you should monitor said account, and when the balance becomes unseemly, temporarily close it to further contributions.While it is a PITA for you, transparency about how this account is deployed will ensure a continued influx of funds from your very grateful QOTO'ers.

@lePetomaneAncien @freemo @derickflorian Just tossing this into the void since this toot sparked an idea. Once a month optional pass the hat event with a goal bar, and once we pass our goal we get to give the rest to a STEM charity or project. I would find it a fun way to support and enjoy our local community but despite the past few years I seem to retained a rather optimistic view of people in general.
