       So why is it when you #follow somebody on #mastodon it doesn't immediately follow them? I have a lot of follows that I've sent out that took hours to process, and a lot that still haven't?Where can you see the pending list of people you're following?#help #helpme #twitterexodus #twittermigration #twitterrefugee

       @doctroid No pending follows on my follow list, but I do see "follow request pending" on a lot of profiles I attempted to follow.

       @razorbeamz OR NOT. I just checked, the icon DID go to the blue "following" icon when I did it, but now is back to "pending" on (I guess) all of them. So yeah, something's messed up.

       @razorbeamz @doctroid We may be waiting for the acknowledgement to arrive from the remote instance.  Try withdrawing the request, the follow.  That has worked for others.

       @SDF @razorbeamz That *appeared* to work, the button went from "Withdraw" to "Unfollow". But if I go to settings and look at my follow/followers list I see them following me but not me following them, and I'm not seeing them in my home timeline. And then if I go back to their profile it says "Withdraw" again. So no, it does not work for me.
