       I'm requesting an archive of my Twitter data, while I still can.I don't think that the site is going to go away completely, but it could devolve into such a chaotic state that it will soon become impossible, later or more likely, not be allowed.

       @paradroyd Twitter will still need to comply with GDPR or stop operating within the European Union.  Removing the ability to obtain your archive would be met with legal challenge abroad and at home.If there’s anything to worry about, it’s about the quality & timeliness of the archive you get.  When running on a skeleton crew, archive work may be met with minimal effort to satisfy legal requirements.There is also incentive to modify archive format to be hostile to third-party importers.

       @ne1for23 I know that they can't "legally" do that, but I think that they are probably already breaking laws at a rate that will take any regulatory entities a VERY long time to catch up with.ATM, their problems are mostly HR and technical. The legal problems haven't really even gotten started yet. They are coming, regardless of what else does, or doesn't happen.In the meantime, better safe than sorry.

       @paradroyd good luck - I requested an archive about a week ago now, and it's still processing. I saw some other people on twitter saying they got one but it was corrupt
