@paradroyd SDF has been struggling a bit .. I have a fallback account over on mastodon.social and SDF can be hours behind .. (all things being equal, follows etc).

@SDF do we just log in with our existing SDF credentials ? if so not working for me.. and reset-password doesn’t seem to be sending the email ..

@HunterZ @SDF well if I try to log in with my credentials for SDF.ORG it doesnt accept my current p/w, if I try to create an account with the same email, says it already exists, try to "reset" password, haven't got the reset p/w email yet.. so??...?..?

@textfiles Funny you mention this, in many of the retro groups I dabble in, when I mention archive.org most europeans participating in those groups have either never heard of it or have some weird kind of distrust of it .. its bizarre .. With enough careful encouragement, they are generally amazed at what they find there..

@SDF is there still something a little "wonky" with when I try to follow someone else, seems like it has a weird delay still .. though it does seem far improved from before.. If this is still a known issue, ok, no worries, but just an FYI if you guys are still adjusting the knobs and dials ..

Ok this perhaps the most brutal eulogy I’ve read on the internet in a long time thats actually also really succinct, not vulgar and eloquently written at the same time and good for people who unpleasant but you need to say something about them. Mentally noting it for potential future use.
