Yes, this is really Google Wave (actually Apache Wave, the open-source version).Yes, you can create an account. No, not everything works properly, but basic messaging and editing posts do work.I'll delete this Wave server by Monday, which is longer than Twitter is going to last

If you actually made an account, the shitpoasting Wave is https://wave.notnow.dev/waveref/wave.notnow.dev/w+6rFLhcbIE0A/~/conv+root/b+6rFLhcbIE0B, but you'll need to ask me to grant you access for now.

To sign up to Wave, you first go to the list of instances to find a homeserver that matches your interests...just kidding (Apache Wave doesn't even federate).Throw in a password (don't use, like, a password you use anywhere else) and ask me to add you to the shared dochttps://twitter.com/zhuowei/status/1593774469927034886

@zhuowei I'm in! Natanael on the instance.Seeing Wave up and running reminds me of when Portal 2 got updated with the radios and people used Google Wave to work together to solve the hidden messages, and I watched it live

@Natanael_L This code is probably literally the same age as SwiftKey (SwiftKey was July 2011, Apache Wave November 2011)

@Natanael_L both SwiftKey and open source Wave dates from 2010. (also apparantly in my mind 2010 and 2011 are the same)
