This is really odd. I've been occasionally replying to threads today, and it seems like most of my posts/responses aren't making it out past SDF. The last one I responded on isn't even showing up anywhere in my history.As always, I'm just using the website. There is no other client involved on this end.

@paradroyd It could be the load. Mass migration from Twitter the past month. SDF has a lot of hardware and is adding more but others may not have the option/funds. All I can advise is patience...

@jim_in_austin Yeah..I figured it's probably related to the unprecedented new load(s).It's just weird that this is the first time I'm seeing it, as opposed to last week during and right after the last exodus. It just seems like it's manifesting in a weird way, at a weird time.They could be workingon stuff (hardware and/or software) behind the scenes too. So lots of unknown variables.

@paradroyd SDF is very old and has a lot of resources but a number of Fediverse instances are one man/one horse operations and simply can't scale right now...

@paradroyd @jim_in_austin SDF has been actively testing servers to add capacity the past two days, it's probably transient and related to that; see the @SDF toots over the past couple of days for details!

@elb @jim_in_austin @SDF I've been watching that. It's also quite possible that the problem mostly isn't on SDF at all, but at the other end and/or somewhere in-between.

Sometimes people get replies, sometimes they don’t. If there was a ticketing system, I’d use it.

@paradroyd SDF has been struggling a bit .. I have a fallback account over on mastodon.social and SDF can be hours behind .. (all things being equal, follows etc).
