@duhproject I haven't even really gotten into emulation on the deck yet. I've installed some of my usual go-to emulators, etc, but I haven't even installed the supporting system roms or disk images yet.I did get Pico-8 set up though, and of course that works great.

@paradroyd @duhproject I keep hearing all about the deck. I am going to consider it in the new year. Now is not the time to buy things (I keep telling myself that!)

@thomasfuchs @sanxion @paradroyd Really? I'll have to keep an eye out for that info. I haven't had ANY screen issues, and frankly, it's the BEST part of the Deck. The screen is beautiful and large.

@duhproject @thomasfuchs @sanxion I'm not sure what you were replying to (I think that the thread got mixed up somewhere).Anyway, I haven't had any screen issues either. On the other hand, I've barely had my Steam Deck for a week though. I've been using it docked for most of that time.

@duhproject @sanxion @paradroyd I've read that it really looks bad compared to e.g. Switch OLED or an iPad--but I haven't had the opportunity to use the Steam Deck at all so it's all just opinions from internet randos :D

@thomasfuchs @duhproject @sanxion I have an M1 iPad pro and it doesn't look as good as that, but it doesn't look like crap to me by any means, (or even marginal) either. At no point have I looked at it and thought it was deficient for what it is. No regrets here.
