@thermaltransfer @GatorTime It seems weird to worry so much about getting caught for saying things on the internet because it implies that you would never say it in real life. Especially if you are a nobody, worrying about caught so much is treating saying racist things online like it is a literal crime, which I think does have a negative psychological impact in reifieing the social stigma and control. Obviously, there are real concerns for some people, they could get fired from their jobs but I'm not even sure how often that even happens.

Obviously, nobody wants to go out there with their identity in the open, but if it happens it happens, and it's kind of a blessing in disguise.
