@Rerez @lashman You can post directly. How large depends upon your instance admins. Just remember though, your video will end up getting pushed to other federated servers for their viewers to watch too, so try to not go too crazy on file size.

@Rerez @lashman @tilvids Because PeerTube uses ActivityPub, the same protocol that Mastodon uses, users can directly follow your channel with their Mastodon accounts and be notified of new videos directly in Mastodon itself.

@jay @Rerez @lashman This is one aspect I didn't even realize when I signed up over on Mastodon. It's really interesting to see #tilvids videos show up on feeds in Mastodon, someone comment ON Mastodon, and then have that comment show up back in the comments for the video on tilvids. It's really quite a cool feature.
